The Hebrew Cemetery Association has limited funds available for families who meet the established financial hardship criteria as defined by the HCA. The Association, the community, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte graciously provide financial contributions to subsidize the cost of this financial aid. The Association attempts to assist all families in need. Jewish Family Services (JFS) provides financial assessments and makes recommendations to the Association regarding financial need. The Association makes the final determination of financial assistance.
Financial assistance can be assessed at any time prior to a death as well as after a death occurs. Jewish Family Services works directly with the family to complete an assessment. All applications will be held in the strictest confidence by JFS.
