The Hebrew Cemetery Association (”HCA”) has limited funds available for families that meet the established financial hardship criteria as defined by the HCA Advisory Board. HCA attempts to assist all families in need. HCA utilizes Jewish Family Services (“JFS”) to assess and make recommendations regarding financial need. HCA makes the final determination of financial assistance.
Completed financial assistance forms are to be turned into Jewish Family Services (“JFS”) directly within two weeks after a death. JFS Staff will then review the completed application and contact you to schedule an appointment. It is critical that applicants comply with meeting requests since it is a short turnaround time. All applications will be held in the strictest confidence.
